Southampton Ice Rink

The only covered ice rink on the east end of Long Island! Our rink is 120x50 and we take great pride in trying to keep a great quality of ice. We typically operate from November 1st - April 1st each year.

We offer public skating 7 days a week, with extensive hours on the weekends and during holiday breaks. Bring your own skates or rent a pair of ours. We rent hockey and figure skates. Click here to find out costs for public skating.

We offer skating lessons 7 days a week, during our public sessions. Skating lessons are offered to children and adults. We have amazing and experienced coaches here at the Southampton Ice Rink! Click here to meet our coaches.

Our skating school is a season long program designed to not only teach children to skate, but to make them GREAT skaters! Skaters in our skating school get to partake in our skating show during Winter Fest in February. Click here to learn more about our skating school at Southampton Ice Rink.

We have an extensive youth hockey program here at Southampton Ice Rink. We are one of the homes of the Peconic Wildcats, the east end's travel hockey organization. We offer programs for children of all ages. Beginners to advanced. Click here to check out all of the programs we offer.

One of the coolest adult hockey leagues on Long Island. The "Southampton Hockey League" is a 3 V 3 format that runs from November - March. Each year we have an "A" and a "B" division. Players of all ages 17 + and skill levels can join. You can register as a team or as a "free agent". Registration is now open on our league website at www.shockeyleague.com . In addition we also offer "sticks & pucks" during the week and on some weekends. Sticks & pucks is a great time to just come and shoot around. You don't need full hockey equipment, but you will need a helmet, gloves, skates & a stick. 

Southampton Ice Rink uses the Sparx skate sharpening system. This makes it really easy for all of our staff to be able to sharpen skates, without compromising the quality of the sharpen. We can sharpen figure skates, hockey skates + goalie hockey skates. Skate sharpening are $12.

We do offer private ice rentals! Whether you want to rent the rink out to play pick-up hockey with your buddies or just rent the rink for you and your friends to skate, we have the availability to do so! Click here to check our calendar and rates for rink rentals.

In 2021 we installed 3 igloos at Southampton Ice Rink! These are awesome! They're heated and decorated for you to enjoy the winter atmosphere, without feeling the winter temps. Many people use them to dine (with a delicious meal from Local Burger) or just to hang out in while their family & friends skate. Ice skating birthday parties are the best! Birthday parties typically include 1.5 hours of skating, rental skates for those who need, food from our restaurant (Local Burger) and use of our private birthday party room (heated).
